Siobhan joined Downie Stewart after building a career in commercial, intellectual property and employment law across Auckland, Queenstown and Dunedin.

Originally from Dunedin, Siobhan studied at the University of Otago before beginning her legal career as a commercial, intellectual property and employment solicitor with a boutique law firm in Auckland. She later moved to Arrowtown, where she spent eight years working in Queenstown with a large national firm specialising in commercial property and employment law.

Siobhan’s experience includes business sale and purchase transactions, commercial leasing, commercial contract drafting and negotiation, business structuring, employment, law, ICT contracts (including website terms and privacy policies) and intellectual property advice. She enjoys working closely with clients to provide practical, solutions focused advice and helping them navigate complex legal issues.

Outside of work, Siobhan enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, exploring the outdoors, regular holidays in Naseby and yoga and pilates.
