Samara joined Downie Stewart as a Personal Assistant supporting both Paul Hubbard and Julia Oliver in our Property and Commercial team, bringing a strong background in corporate administration and client service. Prior to joining the firm, Samara spent 3.5 years at Forsyth Barr, where she developed professionally in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and achieved the personal milestone of purchasing her first home in late 2024—a period of significant personal and professional growth.

Drawn to the legal profession by a long-standing interest in law and inspired by conversations with former legal professionals, Samara was attracted to the combination of analytical thinking, problem solving, and people-focused work that the legal environment offers.
