Employers to retain employment agreements
We remind all employers that you are now legally obliged to retain a signed copy of the individual employment agreement for all your employees. This obligation came into force on 1 July 2011 under s64 of the Employment Relations Amendment Act 2010.
If you don't comply with the provisions of s64, you may be fined by the Employment Relations Authority as a result of an action brought by a labour inspector.| Level 8, John Wickliffe House, 265 Princes Street, Dunedin 9016, New Zealand | PO Box 1345, Dunedin 9054 Ph: 03 477 2262 | Fax: 03 477 4021 | E: info@downiestewart.co.nz |
