Julia joined Downie Stewart in 2016, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous career in hospitality. After owning and running a restaurant in Hahei for nearly a decade, Julia made the transition to law, drawn by her passion for problem-solving and making a positive impact on people's lives.

Specialising in commercial and property law, Julia thrives on facilitating transactions and helping clients navigate succession planning and relationship property matters. Her unique background in business ownership and management lends invaluable insight to her role in the commercial team.

Outside of work, Julia and her husband Cameron are busy renovating their 1920s bungalow while raising their young family. Despite her hectic schedule, Julia finds time to stay active through social basketball, golf, and squash. 

Julia's down-to-earth nature, inclusive management style, and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable role model within our firm.
